I Think Satan Looks Like Johnny Depp

I never cease to get a kick out of the little Sunbeams. I encourage them to do things that would horrify their parents. And I laugh when they say inappropriate things.

Sunday the conversation was with one of the little girls. We were singing a song that mentioned Satan.

She looked at me and said, "Um, Sister Peters, what does Satan look like?"

I didn't know what to say.

So I said, "Well, since Jesus and Satan are brothers like you and Sarah are sisters, do you think they might look alike like you and Sarah do?"

She just stared at me.

Then she said, "Yeah, I think they might look alike. Except I think Satan just has a little beard."

In other Sunbeam news, Chris Farley finally, after six months, lost his patience with the two smaller boys who always try to wrestle him. He body slammed one of them.

Yes, I laughed even though the kid was crying his eyes out.

Because he deserved it.
