1. I went to see the new Transformer movie this past weekend. I totally didn't get it. Although I thought all of the transform-on-the-fly stuff was cool, it was unbelievable for two reasons: there's no way Megan Fox's skinny white jeans can stay that clean while she's rolling around in the Jordanian desert and her lips cannot be that big naturally. I also have some issues with the 3 inch heels she was sprinting around in. As if that's even possible.
2. The office fish has been confiscated from my desk. Apparently the Nurse, who bought the fish, didn't think I was doing a good enough job feeding him and cleaning his bowl. I think she was also upset that I'd renamed the fish without consulting her first. I'm not going to lie, I miss Gill.
3. Nothing makes me more sad than going to church in Beaumont (more especially during a holiday weekend.) It seems that most people in the ward have family around and if they don't, they've grown up here and have friends they've known since grade school. They're always talking about all the fun things they're doing together and places they're going. It makes me sad, lonely, and a bit jealous. I don't fit anywhere.
4. School is over in three short weeks. I can't tell you how excited I am to be done. I'm hoping to start my internship before I actually finish school but The Instructor isn't being very helpful.
5. Still no news on the chiropractic assistant job. I called last week to check on my resume and they gave me the we-still-don't-know-anything song and dance.
6. I massaged one of the prettiest women I have ever seen last week. She was about 5'10, slender, blue-eyed, blonde hair, dressed perfectly...I took one look at her and was so ashamed of my appearance. I mean, I think I'd brushed my hair...two days earlier. And I'd worn makeup...six months ago. And I'd washed my clothes...even though they are full of holes, covered in stains, and almost-too-small. Sigh. I want to be pretty, too, but I think I've forgotten how.
7. At the beginning of the weekend I was a culinary virgin in the following areas: taquitos, grilled fish, risotto, and orange rolls. That is no longer the case. I'm going to have to say I did pretty well for a first-timer.
8. And speaking of fish, I would totally eat it more often except it's expensive. And it makes the entire refrigerator smell bad. And I'm scared to death I'm not cooking it all the way and I'm going to end up with fish worms. Or something.
9. Husband and I are going to be developing some Stupid People Repellent. I need it badly at my job. It should be available for purchase sometime this fall.
10. I finally paid tribute to Michael Jackson when Beat It came up on my iPod this morning. For the first time I really listened to the words. They don't really make sense. Much like Michael Jackson's life.

We also did a tribute to Michael Jackson. Karl was so proud of my Guitar Hero "Beat It" vocals, as I was of his fantastic guitar playing! We will spare others by not posting a video of it anywhere. We missed you guys this weekend - it is hard to live far away huh?
