Good friend, Kirk went to Ruby Valley to visit my sister this past weekend. He sent me several pictures, including these, saying that they might make me homesick. Well, mission accomplished, Kirk-i-nator. Isn't it gorgeous?
I think mountains are in my DNA (I guess it is the Swiss heritage or Scottish highlands or something) 'cause I'm homesick when I watch conference or see any pictures of Utah-type mountains (even though I was born and primarily raised in CA). Plus I totally love The Sound of Music.

Really is beautiful...I miss the smell of Nevada rain so bad I told Karl we may have to drive to the nearest sagebrush area to see if we can smell it.
