Touch Junkie Gets Her Fix

Good grief. I don't know if I will ever be a good massage therapist or whether or not I will be able to pass the anatomy tests, but I do know that the large sum of money I had to pay for tuition was totally worth it.

Last night I got an hour and a half long leg massage (I also had to give an hour and a half leg massage...ummm...can't I move on to other parts of the body? There's only so much leg to massage for that amount of time). In the mean time, the instructor massaged my scalp, shoulders, and neck...AHHHHH...so nice.

The only problem was that all of us floundered around with the strokes and the proper massage form (if there is such a thing) thanks to the teaching philosophy of the teacher: he's just "letting us get used to touching and being touched". I don't need to get used to it! I am already a seasoned touch junkie! But rub my legs anyway! And you missed a spot on my shoulders!

In other news, I am seriously thinking about setting a tent up in some random forest location and becoming a hermit. I shall find a way to boil down pine needles for a delicious soup...and perhaps learn to use a slingshot so I can have some delectable squirrel meat. People are just getting too hard to deal with. And I'm tired of making an honest living. Maybe the Uni Bomber had it right...I mean, other than making bombs and sending them to people.
