I wonder what you think when you wake up the morning after you've won/lost the presidential election.
If I were John McCain, I think I would stay in bed, have breakfast, and then go for a walk with my dog. And think about how lucky I was not to have to put up with the election crap anymore (does anyone know how long he gets to keep his secret service detail?) Twenty-two months of campaigning and one loss by the biggest margin since 1972 would wear anyone out.
If I were Barack Obama I might wake up thinking, "Oh crap. What did I get myself into? I'm not going to get any sleep for the next 4 (or even 8) years."
Just think of all the expectations he now has to live up to - an American 180 in the economy, health care, the Iraq war, tax cuts, etc. Not to mention change, change, change everywhere else.
So much to do in a job that is brand new to you - I don't know about anyone else, but I've very nearly vomited the first day of every new job I've ever had. And none of those jobs were President of the United States.

Evidently once you lose, it also means your secret service detail is null and void. I think I would wake up and puke, just like you. Good luck when school starts next week!! I'm super excited for you!
