Today is Tuesday

1. I swear I iron my clothes. I swear I do. I don't understand how by the time I get to work I look like a rumpled bag lady.

2. It looks like my dream of going to massage therapy school is out the window - there is only one accredited school here in Beaumont and while they advertise a night class on their website, it appears they've never actually had one. The lady I talked to said they have a day class that would be starting soon. I asked her when, thinking I could work something out. She said, "Oh, I don't know. Sometime between now and next September...whenever we get four or more people signed up. But we need your $250 non-refundable deposit now."

3. My favorite patients of all time are coming to the office on Thursday. There is just something so happy about them.

4. It rained today - big Texas rain. People still make fun of me when I run to the window to watch the rain fall. I don't think anyone appreciates it the way I do!

5. I was denied by disaster unemployment. They said I hadn't been unemployed long enough to qualify for benefits. Hey, I can be gone longer if that's what they want.

6. I'm wondering if anyone else has ever applied for a job they found on craigslist. All the jobs on there offer REALLY good money. I need to know if it's worth it to apply or if the jobs are actually in Florida. They don't list a location.

7. I can't tell you how sad I am that Misty May is no longer on Dancing With the Stars - she fell and tore her ACL. SOOOOO SAD.

8. On the flip side of things, Making the Team 3, which is the show about trying out to be a one of the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders, had it's season premier last night. Let me tell you, it's like American Idol for the frustrated cheerleader. It's hysterical. Catch it on CMT on Monday nights.

9. I didn't know that macaroni and cheese was a side dish until I moved to Texas. We used to eat it as a meal at home. Throw some ham in and it was the most delicious thing on the planet.

10. I had a dream last night about alternate lifeforms (like in Star Wars) trying to take over the planet. They were gathering other creatures to help them with their cause. I was watching them from above wondering where they had gotten the one human in their group. Turns out the human was MY BABY they had stolen at birth. I woke up MAAADDD at those things for taking my child.

Are there any other places within 1/2 an hour of you that have night classes? Come on, if it's a dream, let's make it work!!

Guess what just happened!! I called the massage therapy school and due to the hurricane shutting down the only other massage school in the entire area, they now have enough people to start a night class on November 10th! I'm so excited, I might just pee my pants!

Now to find the money to go...
