I knew that if I wanted something badly enough, it would happen! Today is cloudy, rainy, and the temperature has dropped to the mid-90's. Apparently resident lizard, Boaz likes the change - this is the first time I've seen him in weeks. I've been missing him.
Since our apartment complex doesn't allow pets, I've had to make Boaz do despite the fact that I REALLY don't like reptiles.
.
Boaz became a semi-pet last year when he infiltrated our house and made a home on our blinds. He was fun to watch because he goes from a shade of dark brown to bright green based on where he is and what he's doing.
However, being that I kept imagining him running through my hair when I wasn't watching him closely (I let him stay for an entire week), I made Husband chase him out while I stood on a chair - not that I'm scared of him, but I don't want any small animal/reptile running across my feet...it feels nasty.
.
Since then, he has lived on the drain pipe right by our back door and whenever I see him, we talk. I don't think he bares any ill will toward me for taking away his plush life behind the couch.
