Coding Master of Awesomeness

I just got the results from the medical coding test I took at the end of February. I passed! Not only did I pass, I got a 93%, the second best in the ENTIRE CLASS. You've got to feel bad for all those women who have been doing this job for years that just got outscored by the newbie. It's hard being awesome, but I'm going to continue to do my best.

Well done, Grand Master Erin.

Yeah!!! All that trouble was worth it, huh?

Of course it was worth it! I got a diploma AND a lapel pin saying that I am a coding master. I am going to wear that pin all day every day for the rest of my life. And, I'm thinking about laminating the dipolma and hanging it around my neck.

Grand Master Erin has a certain ring to it...I think I will have my name legally changed.

How did that smarty pants who wouldn't help you do? My guess is she failed miserably. Congratulations. Now when you write your posts you can just stick in a code if you don't want to write the entire name down, like if I am talking about my sister with the 718.2, or an incontinent patient that stole my mother-in-law's wheelchair with 532.7 (I'm just making these up, by the way. I leave all real coding to the Grand Master.) So much easier that way.

The only code that I actually have memorized is a V65.2 - a person feigning illness. I use it all the time when Crazy comes in. Yeah...Crazy...looks like you've got a V65.2. It always makes her feel really important and also VERY sick.

How about Grand Vizier Erin, or maybe Grand High Poobah Erin. I think that those titles sound more exotic, and therefore, more exciting.

Yes, I also want to know how stingy smarty pants did. Revenge is sweet.

I don't find out how old Smarty-Pants did until the "graduation reception" in June. I know it's mean, but I hope she's not the one person who beat me.

There is no possible way I can change my name to anything containing "Poobah". For some reason, it reminds me of Jaba the Hut. Vizier reminds me of Jafar on Aladdin. How about just plain "Queen of EVERYTHING"?
