My friend, Heather, started a game on her blog where you have to see how many words you can make using your middle and last names (reminiscent of Boggle, the one game on the earth that I HATE). I started a list on Sunday, which I have been constantly adding to (and even more than thinking of the words, it's been harder to keep track of all my little pieces of scratch paper).
To date I have over 400 words and I think that I'm going to have to quit. I stare and stare at the list and I think that I have started repeating words. The one thing I have to say is that if I don't win with 400 words, I should still get the prize for being the smartest.

You have over 400 words with Marie Neff Peters?? Wow. I guess I shouldn't be suprized since you are the smartest person I know. I am in awe. Are you thinking of the next game we get to play? You never know, I might just give out a prize for the most creative real dictionary-proveable word someone comes up with. I have more than enough citrus peelers to go around.
I will start looking for words no one has ever heard of! I'm determined to win.
As far as our next contest, I think that it should have something to do with capitals - state...country...whatever. But no one is allowed to research them or ask anyone else. Maybe you should have to name as many as you can in six minutes. Or ten. Or 30 seconds!!! I don't have any prizes to offer except a copy of my book - and what a prize THAT is!
And since I've left my list at work, I'm going to have to post comments to myself throughout the night:
fin

sierra
sierras

name

fame
seat
past
fate

400 words!?! Could you just take my names and do them for me? Genevieve Christensen. If you win, with my names, you can have the prize. :)
Just take my list, take out anything with a "p" or an "m", add words with "c", "v", and "g". SO many words!
Fireants! Yea! That's an eight letter word. It really doesn't look as long when it is typed out, does it?
Arpent?? I had to look that one up. I never knew you were a landowner in Canada. How else would you know what an arpent is? That may get you a nomination for most creative.
No one said I had to know what the words MEAN just that they had to come from my name.
