When I did my book signing, they told me that they were going to return all the unsold books to the publisher. Yet, there it was, as big as life, sitting on the shelf just four books over from Bill and Hillary's books. I wanted to squeal, squeal, squeal. I admit, I loitered in front of the book for who-knows-how-long, resisting the urge to drag complete strangers over to it and pester them until they bought it.
I also MIGHT have rearranged my book's location a LITTLE BIT...I took one copy of it and put it on one of those tables they have set up in the middle of the aisles - the place where everyone looks when they walk by. I debated the psycho-ness/arrogance in doing it for quite a while but in the end, I figured it was worth it. That was, of course, until I realized that there was already a pile of my books on the table...I guess great minds thing alike.

Hmm, maybe I should head on over to B&N and see if they have in our bookstore.
Woo-Hoo! I wish I was you... :(
PS- Thanks for the sabbath booty-swat. Only you...
Oh, you know me! Always trying to find ways to make church more exciting! I'm thinking that perhaps we could have a booty-swating gauntlet down one hallway after sacrament meeting...
So how exactly does one "throw up in a good way"? I think you are now my favorite author... when will your second book be published?
Throwing up is never a good thing. Feeling like you are going to, however, can be...I can't think of any examples right now, but when I do, you'll be the first to know.
And my second book will be published as soon as I find something to write about. Needless to say, my life is less than exciting right now.
Anyway, welcome to the world of blog commenting! Are you going to have a blog, too??
Hello, Erin--write about all your wonderful blogging friends and your experiences with the whole blogging revolution! With everything we've done so far, this could encompass at least three volumes of excitement.
