I just finished taking my medical coding test. In a little more than four hours, I was the very first one to walk out the door. I'm one of those people who doesn't believe in checking and re-checking answers. I do it, going with my first instinct and that's the end of it. That could either be very good or very bad and until I get the results (in three months), I won't know!
The problem with the test, was the fact that I can barely sit still for one hour, let alone four (it was running time and we had up to six hours to finish the test). I fidgeted the entire time not only because I was sick of sitting there but also because the woman next to me kept going out for smoke breaks and coming back in stinking of stale tobacco. I also accidentally ate broccoli twice yesterday and while I don't want to be crude, I have to bring up the fact that I was having some problems with...uh...bodily gas. Try trying to hide it in a silent room full of 50 over-anxious women.
The one good thing about the test was that I didn't really study for it. During the test I felt marginally comfortable with the material and did the best I could.
Now onto my next task: helping the doctor remember the raise he offered me a month and a half ago for "after I completed the class". That's right, he never said I had to pass the test. SCORE.

Erin, I too have unrequited love issues with broccoli. So glad to hear that you're done with the test - I'm sure you'll do great. You'll have to post your score.
The only thing worse than broccoli gas is burning rubber gas. Nuff said.
I'm sure you were'nt the only one in their with rear-end issues. Out of 50 women, I guarantee you someone else had issues. Statistically it has to work. And, who knows if your tobacco lady really had to smoke that much or if SHE was the one that had to go outside to relieve her intrabdominal pressure...
And that is one good excuse to start smoking - breaks wherein you can smoke AND take care of other "business". And, the nasty smoke smell covers up anything else you might have been doing.
