I just wanted to let everyone know how NICE it was on Sunday to just sit and listen at church without having to teach or take care of little kids.
Ok, let's be honest, I wasn't really listening to the lesson because at one point Husband leaned over and said, "What do you think about that?" and I replied, "What do I think about what?" because up until then I had been very busy admiring my scriptures that I have underlined with pretty colors.
Relief Society was somewhat entertaining because the teacher asked me to help her out with a little object lesson wherein I was supposed to cut a hole in the middle of a piece of paper so that I could fit it over my head. You'll find that I am very handy with a pair of scissors and accidentally ruined the object lesson because even though I was not supposed to be able to do it, my superior cutting skills provided a way(perhaps she should have asked me to add a bunch of numbers together...that would have been a problem).
The whole idea of the lesson was that there are some things that we are unable to do without asking for help from God. I told the lady that I had asked God for help before I started cutting, which I thought was hilarious, but she apparently DID NOT.

Ah, how I miss not having a calling... Now, I'm in Young Women's, Kyle and I have been assigned a "special project" and then I have to meet with another one of the "brethren" on Sunday to discuss another calling for myself. So, I'm up 2 official callings and Kyle has zip. So not fair!
I think that the church in Beaumont likes to put pressure on women. I also had two callings before Nick had one. I wanted to ask why I had two when people that I knew didn't have any.
What's the special assignment? Does it have anything to do with working with inactives??
New convert. This is a particularly difficut assignment for us because neither Kyle nor I are very good at making friends. Believe it or not, we're fairly anti-social.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
I want you in my ward!!!! I would have laughed at the paper incident.
Of course you want me in your ward!! What's your husband's degree going to be in? Perhaps something to do with oil refineries? If so, Beaumont is going to be the place for you!
