Skinny Mini

So...I was just watching the tryouts for the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders. Uh huh. I was. I think that what it all comes down to is the fact that I am a frustrated cheerleader at heart. I always wanted to be a cheerleader but couldn't, due to the fact that my family always made fun of them (and it's a good thing that I didn't, too, because most of the cheerleaders at my high school got pregnant. I know that BEING a cheerleader is NOT the cause of pregnancy...or maybe it is. I call for further research on that one).

However, I was VERY UPSET when, at the end of the team announcements, they introduced these brand new Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader Barbie dolls. I mean, I already think that regular Barbies are too skinny. But these dolls? Unless I'm mistaken, they're SKINNIER than regular Barbies - like almost anorexic/crack whores. Please tell me that they aren't selling these to little girls.

I'm obviously no skinny mini, but the world's projection of beauty/accepted body size is getting more and more ridiculous. No wonder very few women in the world are satisfied with the way they look.

Ok, I'm officially disturbed. That is SICK.

I KNOW. Look at their legs - like matchsticks. There is such a thing as a "healthy weight" and THAT IS NOT IT.

Those are what my friend calls mack truck legs- as in, I could drive a mack truck in between them.

I call them, "look else or I might snap them with my pinky fingers" legs.
