Something That I Will NEVER Understand

I will never understand what prompts people to think that they have to wear their cell phone wireless earpiece ALL THE TIME. The funny thing is that here at Dr. Stovall's office, we have five or six patients that NEVER take them off. And even funnier than that is the fact that ALL of them are on Medicaid. This means that in all likelihood, they don't even have a job. So, what I want to know is, who on earth is going to be putting in an urgent call to them at the doctor's office that #1, would be a call that they COULDN'T miss and #2 would necessitate a wireless earpiece??

In any case, I don't care how important I am and how many calls I get during the day, when I'm at the doctor's office, in the middle of an exam (where you never know where the doctor's hands are going to be), I'm NOT GOING TO ANSWER THE PHONE.

And just one more thing: I don't understand how people who act like jackasses expect you to go the extra mile for them. I'm sorry, but if you're yelling at me/coping an attitude, the age old expression of "the customer is always right" will have to be amended to, "Jackasses (and people who act like them) will not be served at this establishment." I just don't have any charity in my heart for people like that.

Amen! As Elder Holland has said, "There's nothing so awful that whining about it is going to make it any better." So, quit whining. Or yelling, as the case may be.
