Obsessed

Ok, I admit it. I'm obsessed. Today, I got on amazon.com at least five-hundred-sixty-four times just to check my book's rank in amazon.com's sales. Yeah, I did it. For those of you who are wondering, the lowest it got was 358,632 but is currently holding steady at 17,155. It has been every where in between and it REALLY sucks to see it drop from 25,344 to 39,987 in just minutes. I want to yell at the computer and all the people who are on amazon.com at any given time during the day, "BUY THE DAMN BOOK! GET ON AND BUY THE BOOK!"

I'm sad that tomorrow, it will drop in rank yet again because everyone I know bought their copy today (and if you haven't, I will find out about it and stalk you until you do). Now I actually have to try to market the book to people who don't know me. I have no idea how on earth I'm going to do it. I need a marketing plan. Or a sales goal. Or financing. Or a famous friend (Oprah! The position of Erin's bestest friend ever is still open!!).
