Holy Blonde

I have hair ADD. That means that if I have the same hairstyle for more than six months, I freak out a little. Then, when I actually go in to have my hair done, I often say these three sentences: Just chop it off. Just dye it as light as it will go. Please don't make me look at myself in the mirror with wet hair because I very rarely look nice.

Saturday, I went to my hair place and said all three of those things. Of course, I also added in, "Please make me look like Katie Holmes."

Naturally, I had forgotten that Katie Holmes and I are completely different in many ways: #1 She is about 5'9" and weighs 109 pounds. #2 She has an "entourage", which I am assuming includes a makeup AND hair person. #3 She apparently has an unlimited clothing budget. In fact, the only thing that I out-do her in is the fact that I have a fab/not weird Husband.

Anyway, suffice it to say that my hair is now too short for a ponytail yet again and is this amazing color of blonde that I have never seen in my life. In fact, I feel like there is so much bleach in my hair that it's reflecting off my face and making me look semi-jaundice.

In short, I need to hire either someone who will go with me or a hairstylist that will tell me that what I want done IS NOT GOING TO WORK for me. I need someone to reign me in a little bit. I think I'm out of control.
