I Made a Ham!

I made a HAM! Yes, for Easter I made my first ever Easter dinner and therefore my very first ham (I have found that most Mormons eat ham for Easter dinner. This is probably because pigs are so delicious). I didn't have the foresight to take a picture of the ham before I cut it into tiny pieces.

Suffice it to say that I had to baste it with Coke every 30 minutes (the first time I'd ever basted anything in my entire life) and because of that, it was SOOOO good. I even went all the way as to stick pineapple rings and maraschino cherries on it with toothpicks (which I ended up throwing away since neither Nick nor I eat hot pineapple and the cherries were shriveled up like raisins by the time the ham was done baking). It was so pretty. I had to wake husband up from his nap to share in my culinary triumph (mostly because no one else cared...and neither did he, but he pretended really well).
