About America

While I know that America has it's problems, there's one thing about this country that never ceases to move me, and that is the flag. I'm grateful to be a citizen of a country where our flag is a national and international symbol of freedom (and also of winning a lot of gold medals at the Olympics...mostly the summer Olympics since we are constantly getting beat by the bloody Germans and Dutch at the winter ones. This is not our fault as German and Dutch people start skiing when they're like six months old and sometimes have to ski for transportation...ok, so it was Spain where they were skiing for transportation, but it's on the same continent). I guess what I'm trying to say is, here are some pictures that I took.

Really, what? Yes, Germans and Dutch people ski from the time they're six months old (or maybe more like three). And, yes, this past week in Spain there was so much snow that many people were having to ski around town. Really, Ms. Paddy, not impressed with your knowledge of countries that are in your "Union".
