Mom and I take a walk every morning between 6-6:30. We walk down the road for anywhere from 3-4 miles. Now, to some of you, this might seem rather taxing, but I assure you that it is not. This is because we have what I like to call "built-in breaks". We have to stop for everything mom can think of.
This includes important things like potty breaks (behind scant roadside sagebrush covering), looking-at-all-the-dead-animals-on-the-road breaks (today, it was rabbits, birds, and one rattlesnake), and talking-to-Chic-Wolfe-and-yes-that-is-his-real-name breaks (these are forced on us as Chic seems to feel the need to stop his Nevada Department of Transportation truck daily to have the SAME conversation he has had EVERY OTHER DAY for the past six months).
We did have some small techinical difficulties on a potty break today as mom fell over backwards in her attempt to stand up from the squatting position. This took extra break time as I also very nearly peed my pants while looking at her laying there with her pants down saying, "Erin, hey, it's not funny. I have gravel on my bottom now."

Well, if you come to the ranch, we will train that laziness right out of you. Or, I will get someone else to train it right out of you because I would rather be rolling over for the first snooze of the morning as well...
