Husband's first try at an Italian Cream Cake (we stayed up until midnight frosting the thing - I'm still pretty confused as to why the recipe had us put nuts in the frosting.  It made it all chunky and hard to spread):

Carolyn is all into doing everything by herself now.  Right before we left for church, she was spinning in circles and her skirt was falling down.  I told her to come here and let me fix it.  Instead, she can into the bathroom and ran out like this yelling, "Mama, fix it myself!"
